Entekhabi performers in his video pieces, he has created a sort of a false identity, the figure "M": a man with a suitcase who wears bad fitting clothes.
The stereotype of a immigrant – and as such a projection on the surface for fear, mistrust and suspicion. No matter what he is doing, the suitcase is intrinsically connected with him, with his existence. In the new graphic works on paper, the suitcase has transformed itself into a surreal companion. It turns into a shelter, a burden, a communication tool, an enclosed space of desire. For the artist, the suitcase stands for the multifaceted and ambivalent concept of identity. A deceit within a deceit, a self-deception within a self-deception.
